Troubleshooting application switching in another workspace

i'm using kali linux 2021.4a, i use a combination of alt + tab to switch apps, but the apps in other workspaces don't show up, i've tried this way


gsettings set org.gnome.shell.app-switcher current-workspace-only true

but it's still the same, does anyone have a solution?
