Hi there, please excuse me for posting again (first: 12th of dec 21 in installing nethunter forums).
i have rooted a nexus9 - fine.
installed a nethunter image kali 3.10 - fine.
some reboots - fine.
if i start nethunter app, root rights will be garanted (i see the toast message) - fine.
on my nexus9, there is no default wifi working. but i suggest and read in the manual: thats normal. the default adapter is not able to listen, so it is deactivated... hm!?

i bought a tp link tl-wn822n8 version 5.2 (i know the suggestions on https://www.kali.org/docs/nethunter/wireless-cards/, but i got no version 1-4)

i connect the wifi adapter to the nexus9: the green led is not going to be active.
i connect a y-cable with a power bag: tplink is not working. (on my second laptop, tplink works fine)

is there a problem with power? do i have a change to activate tplink wifi despite version 5.2?

My question: if all would work fine, what is the common way to get wifi running on nethunter? i dont know exactly on which waypoint the problem starts...

thanks a lot.
Tom

Uses a realtek chipset and would need drivers installed before it would work;

The link to the Linux drivers for that tp-link adapter example is a zip file within which there is actually makefile for you to compile the drivers for the platform required, i.e. ARM in this case..
