View Full Version : kali linux with kernel 5.15.0-kali2-amd64 end up black screen

Hi,

I have installed kali linux with kernel 5.14.0-kali2-amd64 and few weeks ago i updated kali to 5.15.0-kali2-amd64. Now, when try to start kali with that new kernel it end up in black screen. When kali is started with kernel 5.14.0-kali2-amd64 it works just like it should be working but not with that new kernel. Do i have to install someting more or what i should do that i get kali working with that newer kernel?

in virtualBox installation like above works just like it should be... does anyone know that what went wrong?

I Think this is xserver issue, How about what do you think?

it's deffinetly xserver issue because with gdm3 kali goes all the way in login-window but no further. and after login creditals and enter hitting again black sreen...

this was graphics card(nvidia) related problem, i manage to solved it with help of google.
