Automatically setting display resolution as a Spice guest

I'm running Kali as a VM on Proxmox and using Spice as my display agent. I have spice-vdagent installed and running, but it doesn't automatically set my display resolution when the guest window is resized, as it does in other VMs.I know the display size is detected correctly because if I open the Display GUI utility I can manually set it to the correct resolution.


How can I make this automatic?
