Description of problem:I went to install QEMU/KVM on my kali linux laptop
its being ran on bare metal ive followed all installations correctly read online cant find anything help except for a patcher from here https://github.com/patchew-project/libvirt i dont know how to implement it kinda relatively new to kali linux but not linux in general ima ******* idiot.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):mdevctl 1.1.0 libvirtd 8.0.0 virt-manager 4.0.0


How reproducible:

Below are the exact commands i used to try and set up my virtual machine.


$ sudo apt install virt-manager qemu-kvm libvirt-clients bridge-utils libvirt-daemon-system

I also ran kvm-ok to check if my computer was compatible and ofcourse it was my number was 8 so it was over 1 meaning it can run kvm .

This is the problem i am getting also when i try to list the uuids with the command:$ mdevctl list

i get absolutely no results at all even tho my system is installed with it properly it came with kali linux.

Someone help me im not trying to go back to virtualbox or vmware shitty *** slow virtualization.
