Hey guys, did a quick search before posting, noticed one other user had a similar issue but no solution.

I am trying to install Kali Linux on an old box I have.

System specs are as follow:
X99-Deluxe
i7-5820K
16GB DDR2400
512GB ADATASP800
Radeon RX Vega 56

The boot menu works fine, and live image works as well. When i try to install i get a smiliar output to this:

Any tips? I tried finding the GRUB Menu but I dont have one installed. I installed Windows 11 (using rufus and non supported hardware) allocated 70gb for Kali for some testing but I am unable to get it on a machine. Sadly this is the only desktop I have and was hoping to utilize the GPU for hash cracking.

Boot menu is initially in VGA mode so will always run, that looks like a graphics driver issue.

Odd that it runs OK in live mode though and not at install?

You could try again using the latest Kali release 2022.3 available.

In boot menu you can choose boot options choose basic graphics until the system is up and then update drivers.
