accessing internet

my linux cannot access internet via ethernet cable but it can via wifi but i do not have wifi for long periods of time.I seached and i think th error is that there are no ethernet drivers but there is nothing useful online on how i can install the drivers when i dont have internet

how i can install the drivers when i dont have internet- You can't..

.. when you do have WiFi access, that is the time to sort out the ethernet drivers..
