Hi all:

Linux newbie here.

I recently installed kali-linux-2022.2-live-amd64 onto an 8GB USB Flash drive. It boots and work fine,
but it doesn't leave much room for a persistence partition.

I read the docs more than once, but found they were a bit piecemeal and got confused.

First, how much storage space do people recommend for persistence partition?

Second, if I want more space, do I have to download and install another image? Is the 2022.2 live
too big for that?

Thanks.

Persistence is only for storing your own files, so the 1+ GB that's left would normally be enough.

If you want more, get a bigger USB drive!
