Kali on PI 4 run shell on login

Hi

I'm trying to run a shell .sh file automatically after user logs in on Kali running on Pi4. I have tried many different methods including putting file in .profile in home directory and .bashrc. I need the shell file to run after user has logged in not on boot.

Any help much appreciated.
