Unable to detect Laptop touch pad's click

I am using lenovo G570. I am facing a problem where KALI is unable to detect my laptop's touch pad click.

It works fine with mouse and also detects laptop's click buttons.
Also, it is able to detect my touch pad's movements and the page scroll.

But I am habitual of using touch pad for clicking.

Is there a way to fix this?

Check your touchpad settings, clicking was disabled for me... Applications -> System Tools -> Preferences -> System Settings -> Mouse And touchpad
