Metasploit update: IP connection failure

I've posted in these forums before about trouble updating metasploit. Sometimes it works, mostly it doesn't. The cause of the failures is:

Connection failed [IP: 109.72.87.236 80]

An IP from a Dutch company called PC Extreme.

Is there a way to force kali to use certain mainstream and working IP adresses for upgrades or excluce non-working ones?
