Hello!
I have a laptop with a broken screen. I'm able to install Backtrack 5 since it installs after booting up live mode.
I'd very much like to install Kali, and I'd like to know if there is a way to either boot from inside live mode, or modify the install command to use a monitor other than the built-in laptop screen.
I've verified that live mode works from the particular install DVD I'm using, and I've started the disc in another computer to verify that I'm selecting the correct option on the laptop (graphical install). My other box is a different architecture than my laptop, so I've not gone past the initial screen on that one.
Hitting tab on the "graphical install" option reveals the command:
.linux /install/gtk/vmlinuz video=vesa:ywrap,mtrr vga=788 -- quiet initrd=/install/gtk/initrd.gz
Anyone know how I can modify that?
Thanks for reading.
