Hi all!
So I am having trouble getting Kali to boot. I am multi-booting Windows 7, ArchLinux, and Kali and this desktop. Windows and Arch have their own hard drive, and kali has its own hard drive. During one of my re-installs, windows wiped my EFI partition on Kali's drive (thank you windows). I was unable to simply recover it with testdisk.
My setup for Kali is as follows:
Kali Booting from disk with UEFI.
I manually setup Encrypted LVM with Luks, similar to this.
So Basically I have three partions on my Kali Drive: Fat32/EFI Partition, ext3/boot Partition, LVM/Luks Root Partition.
The Problem:
I cannot figure out how to restore the EFI partition correctly. I think I have grub re-installed correctly. I tried following this thread, but I still cannot get my get my system to boot. I've tried manually restoring what I think the EFI partition should look like, but I am just not sure. Any help would be great, thanks!
