We finally got so tired of the problem that we decided to try an alternative solution and put our remote viewer intuitives on the matter and try nonlocal consciousness. After about five minutes they focused on the internal wifi receiver. Bingo!!!
We opened up the back of the computer, slid the Broadcom BCM 4313 802.11bgn out of the slot. started the computer and the install process for kali-linux 1.09 went flawlessly.
The computer was then shut down, the Broadcom receiver slid back into the slot. Kali-linux 1.09 recognized the wireless and worked fine.
So something in the install routines for kali-linux cannot handle this wifi device since kali-linux 1.06.
We hope the next kali-linux version corrects this problem.
For those that have this problem the solution is only a screwdriver away.
Do not try altering the BIOS, we tried that. It did not work. Make sure you remove the device from the slot NOT just unhook the antenna leads.
