Hello,
having some troubles to start Kali Linux from usb with EFI!
Situation:
- notebook with efi v2.31
- OS installed: Debian wheezy (lvm volume) & win8.1 in dual-boot with grub2
I've downloaded kali 1.0.9a iso, verified checksum and installed on my USB Flash 16gb with dd (dd if=kali.iso of=/dev/sdX bs=512k).
At the boot time when I select USB device to boot with UEFI it doesn't boot.
I've also tried to execute the /EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.efi from EFI Shell but USB wont boot.
Any advices?
