I am using a Virutal Box installation of 3.14-kali1-686-pae

when I do cat /etc/apt/sources.list I see

when I run apt-get update

it tries to connect to security.kali.org and I get

Err http://security.kali.org kali/updates Relase.gpg

count not resolve security,kali.org
Reading Package lists... Done
w: failed to fetch http://security.kali.org/kali-securi...es/Release.gpg Could not resolve 'security.kali.org

I checked my DNS list at cat /etc/resolv.conf and its fine.. also when I use the

leafpad /etc/apt/sources.list and when the editor opens its blank..there is nothing in there..I am not to sure what is going on... let me know if you guys need more info.

I figured it out on my own, Leafpad is gui based editor and I didnt want to use that, so i used nano, my sources list was no good, everything had a # in front of it except the deb http://security.kali.org/kali-security .. so i edited it with nano and added deb http://http.kali.org/kail kali main non-free contrib line and now it seems to be updating as it should be.. anyone see anything im doing wrong? or need anymore info?
