I am running Kali 1.1.0 on a HP Pavilion dv6000 and the login screen really weird which stops me from logging in. This happens with all Linux systems on this laptop and it is a resolution problem because I used garter and changed the resolution of that and then it was fine.
It is a clean install on the Hdd with no other os's present.
If someone could tell me keyboard commands to login and change the resolution that would be awesome thanks.image.jpgimage.jpg
