Kali install on MS Surface

Hi Everyone

I have been trying for a while to get Kali installed on my Surface book but no luck.

I have tried:
(with secure boot off)
Lili
Rufus
Win32 disk imager

All 3 just boot to a completely plain black screen.

I tried another method I saw on the forum of copying Bootx64.efi and grubx64.efi to /EFI/Boot/ which starts grub but can't get past that.

And also tried making a grub.cfg file, but this returned an error of 0x82473000 aborted.

Has anyone managed this or have any suggestions?

Hi,

I had nearly the same problems on a Surface 3 - not the PRO model.
My solution was to connect an external display to the mini-hdmi-port where the start screen was shown.

But altogether it was horrible to work with the non-pro version and third party OS's.

Now I try to use a Surface 4 Pro but unfortunately I have some difficulties, too...
