Problem with the browser Kali Linux

Hello, I am writing because I have Kali Linux 1.10 and when it starts on the desktop works fine until I open the browser and put the black screen and I have to restart the computer. What can it be? Will pricked the operating system? Will a similar death that appears on Windows screen? I hope your answers.
