Hello there,
I've been having an ongoing issue with installing OpenVPN on Kali 2.0, so that I can use my VPN service (Private Internet Access). I've followed every tutorial I could find on the topic, with no success whatsoever, aside from being able to install and use it on other Linux distro's.
My main problem seems to be stemming from being unable to install 'network-manager-openvpn-gnome' and other associated OpenVPN packages. In the attached screenshots, you can see the error messages I've been given repeatedly no matter what I've tried...
And when I use apt-get update, I've noticed the following message, even though I have installed the correct keys from OpenVPN and have verified they're up to date...Package network-manager-openvpn-gnome is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'network-manager-openvpn-gnome' has no installation candidate
Not sure what I'm doing wrong here, but any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated! I have been able to get everything working in Fedora 24 with no problems.W: The repository 'http://swupdate.openvpn.net/apt <jessie> Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.
Thanks!
