In terminal shortcut keys aren't working !! Ex- copy,paste etc shortcut key

At first all shortcut keys were working well both in my root and another user session.
But after i upgrade 2016.1 to 2016.2 in root user no terminal shortcut keys is working !!
i can't find any solution. Though in another user session i don't have this problem.Whats is the reason for it?

ctrl+alt+t(for open terminal) this shortcut is working,in terminal no shortcut is working .

Are you talking about copy/paste only, or all shortcut keys?

There are no shortcuts like that in the lxterminal. You can use right click though. The commands are replaced with ctrl+c being stopping a current terminal activity etc.

Thanks for your concern , but i can solve it now. Somehow in root all my shortcut keys was disabled when upgrading distro. I enable it again in root.
