Kali Freezing

Hello, I have A RPI2 with a 16G SD card. I used win32diskimager to flash the latest Kali linux for rpiB/rpiB+/rpi2 to it. It was successful. When I went to boot, The login screen for kali appeared but I was not able to interact. No lights on keyboard and after a few seconds. The text cursor quit blinking and went to a solid line. What happened?

Fixed it with another install. Not sure why it did it.
