Hello,
I'm trying to connect Kali on VirtualBox on a corporate network. The network uses a proxy requiring authentication.
Distributor ID: Kali

I'm running VirtualBox on a 64bit Windows 7.
In Kali I updated /etc/apt/apt.conf with the correct Proxy and login, but apt doesn't work.
Firefox can't connect either. I tried setting the proxy manually in firefox but when I try to load a website it tells me instantly that the proxy is refusing connections. It's the same message I get on my Host-system's firefox if I try to load a website and fail to authenticate. The problem is on firefox it never pops up an authentication window!
If I configure to auto-detect or take from system it doesn't work either.
Bridged mode works fine.
Thank you for your help!
Sincerely,
ErrorOnDefault
