Hi all,
I'm a newbie, so I'm asking for your help guys.
I've recently bought a new laptop and installed kali rolling on it.
I've had to install graphics driver for my NVIDIA GTX 960M to run GUI at all.
But after a few days of work i recognised that my Displayport doesn't work
My HDMI and VGA is all right, but the Displayport is looking like it's dead.
Every time I plug in a cable there aren't any changes in "xrandr" command- it says that the DP is disconnected.
I've tried multiple tutorials about "How to install graphics card drivers" but every time it just gave me a blank screen saying "Oh no! Something has gone wrong."
I don't know what to do... Please help me...
I installed the driver this way orginally:
http://docs.kali.org/general-use/ins...-on-kali-linux
My laptop model is:
Laptop Dream Machines G960 (G960 i5-15PL08)
15.6'' FHDmatt IPS LED/i5/8GB/500GB_SSD/HD530+GTX 960M_2GB/USB3/HDMI/mDP/BT/6cell
If you'd like to have some more info please let me know what to add.
I really need this port, please guys help me!!!
