Hi everybody,
I am new to linux, and I am starting to learn it. I installed yesterday Kali distribution on my Dell Precision 7510 with "NVIDIA Corporation GM107GLM [Quadro M2000M] (rev a2)" display adapter and "Intel Corporation HD Graphics 530 (rev 06)". This laptop has 4K display and I was having troubles using it (font is too small during installation).
Now I want to install Nvidia display driver to be able to use my HDMI screen (because it is not detected in the Display Settings). I downloaded 'NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-361.42.run' file for the installation and followed this tutorial to install it : http://www.adonespitogo.com/articles...a-on-kali-2.0/
I run through a lot of problems with that tutorial but I solved them by searching, but now I am stuck with this problem when running the driver installation :
Code:
ERROR: An error occurred while performing the step: "Building kernel modules". See /var/log/nvidia-installer.log for details.
Code:
ERROR: The nvidia kernel module was not created.
Code:
ERROR: Installation has failed. Please see the file
'/var/log/nvidia-installer.log' for details. You may find suggestions
on fixing installation problems in the README available on the Linux
driver download page at www.nvidia.com.
I searched but nothing
Here is the log file : https://ufile.io/g6tsz
Thank you very much!
