2019.2 (linux 5.2.0-kali2-amd64) kali underscore lines on screen

It is a bit hard to explain so I added screenshots.
As you will see there are rows of underscores on my screen.

I have an ASUS laptop with a nvidia geforce gt 620M.

I have installed the 2019.1 kali (4.19.0-kali1) and it was working very good.
I did an upate and full-upgrade and once the 2019.2 (linux 5.2.0-kali2-amd64) installed I have this behavior.
If I boot with 2019.1 it work fine.

Looks like a driver issue. You have a nvidia card, so it may have loaded nouveau. You can try disabling loading nouveau, by blacklisting it in /etc/modprobe.d and maybe also when booting, "nouveau.modeset=0" I think
