Installing Kali linux on hp spectre x360 15-df0xxx Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H Bios- F.21 512ssd 16gb

I have been trying to install Kali Linux on my 2 day old hp Spectre. The primary OS was windows 10. The installation completes just fine but problem is that it gets stuck after inputting the root password. I am facing different problems.

• The screen goes grey after login when I install the 2019.3 amd64 version.
• The boot is stuck after loading the display manager having installed the 2018 ISO.

I have tried Kali Linux 2019, 2016, 2017 all behaving the same. Is this a noted and solvable problem or this model does not support Linux. I really need to fix this. Please help. I can't even bear the thought of using another Operating system.

Most likely graphics card drivers. My desktop with radeon 740 graphics card perfirms the same way. But when i boot from my laptop it works fine
