Burp Suite can't add webpage exception...

Hi, I have Kali 2019.3 64-bit on VMware and Windows 10 Host. I'm using Burp Suite on Windows and Kali. I've been using Burp Suite for a while and have a question. A lot of sites don't give you the option to add an exception for a webpage and therefore can't add a target. I need a page on Burp for testing Path Traversal. So how can I add webpages to Burp (capture) with no option to add an exception? I've had this problem a lot and I'm just wondering. Please reply. Thanks

Anyone? Is it impossible to capture from certain web pages using Burp? Without the option to add an exception?

Impossible? That makes capturing difficult.
