Wifi adapter Name after monitor mode and turned back to managed mode is still wlan0mon

hi i changed the mode of my wifi card to monitor mode
airmon-ng start wlan0

and now i changed it to manage mode
airmon-ng stop wlan0mon

it turned to manage mode but the name is not changed !

lo no wireless extensions.

The name does not matter you use whatever it gives either mon0 or wlan0mon.
