Installer: disk not detected

I am installing Kali 2020.2 on an old ASUS F3J PC. It obviously uses BIOS interface.

I am using the Live CD, but the issue happen the same with the Installation CD. Same for a USB in MBR or DD schema.
Live CD or Live USB works well, and the system boot from it correctly.

During the media/disk setup step the installer states that it cannot recognize the disk, and propose a long list of packages, but no one is accepted.
Skipping it, the option for installing on a partition or on the entire disk is not proposed.

Do you have any suggestion? Any manual shell option?

If you are trying to install Kali Linux in your lapop, the Kali Linux documentation states that the installer is the recommended image to use than Live CD.
Try to look into https://www.kali.org/docs/installation/.

Got almost the same problem, and not a lot of people around here, forums seems dead since several weeks, the lockdown perhaps...
Have try to install it using PXE ?

The issue is that the installer works, but it cannot find a hard disk to install.

If I am not wrong PXE helps me if I have not a way to run the installer...
