Screen went distorted after selecting install or graphical install

    Dear all.

I need some help here. Downloaded the latest kail amd64 image and burnt to disc.
Managed to boot it and see GRUB and then after selecting install or graphical install, the screen went distorted.
Tried many times and same problem.

Hardware: Lenovo S400 touch (i5-3rd gen, 8GB RAM)

I believed my laptop is not compatbile with Kali.
I burned the iso onto a disc and also onto a USB.
Both resulted the same distortion after i clicked install/graphic install.

I've got the same problem but my whole screen gets distorted.
Used the same image to setup a virtual machine and it worked fine.
Hardware: Eaget USB 64GB, HP Elitebook 840 G1, core i5-4th gen, 16GB RAM

    Just fixed it.
All i had to do was change my boot options from uefi(without csm) to uefi (with csm).
Hope it works for you too

Try burning a new disk or creating a USB install stick

Hi, thanks for this but it doesn't work for me.
Google a bit on UEFI (w/o csm) and then try it on my laptop.
In my laptop bios, there's only option of UEFI and Legacy support.
Default was UEFI (which doesn't work) so i switch this to Legacy support and run the USB stick.
Still gave me the same distortion after install/graphical install.
