im looking for some advice if ok. im new to the comunity and kali, im trying to get my third function's to work properly on my mac while using kali using a vm. tryed changing the kb layout both via settings and command line but neather see to work.

If I need something that Kali doesn't recognise I just use Mac notes and copy/paste into Kali VM
For third functions on Mac you use option key, but Kali doesn't recognise it so you only get 2 functions on all keys
