Lately, I have noticed my system is running real slow, and my load widget is often peaked at 100%. This is out of the ordinary, so I investigated with htop and discovered the command
Code:
/lib/systemd/systemd --user
ran by user sddm is consuming between 99.7-107.3% of the available CPU load. It hardly ever drops below 99%. This is not how things are supposed to be. So, I was wondering if this is a known issue?
If the command is systemd, but the user is sddm, does this mean it is a systemd thing or a sddm thing? An sddm issue is easy to fix with the installation of a different display manager, but if it is a systemd issue, I am unsure how to progress.
Thanks in advance for any help.
