Hello,
I have installed Kali on an ASUS UX32LA notebook. Part of this installation is Gnome as well as XFCE.
When I log in to a Gnome session my touchpad works perfectly, especially tapping works. That means: instead of using the left mouse button I can tap on the touchpad.
If I use an XFCE session the touchpad doesn't react to such taps, they simply don't work. So, I'm forced to use the left button which is part of the touchpad in my case. Very strange is that I can even shut off the touchpad in the Settings applet but the touchpad still works, at least pointing and moving the cursor and two-finger scrolling still work. What doesn't work in either case is tapping for clicking.
This is a strange behaviour as far as I see it, does anyone have a solution? How can I make the tapping work in the XFCE session?
I have attached an inxi and an lshw output.
Thanks for your help and ideas!
