rtl8192cu functional driver

I have literately sucked google dry in my quest for a fully operational AWUS036NHR in a Kali environment.. I know its not the best driver to work with, but as you know, it will unleash some goodies if the driver can get operational in Kali as it was in Backtrack.

I tried several drivers and approaches but the closest i could get was the latest compat-wireless Without injection capabilities. Then i saw this thread from the old Backtrack community: http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...ad.php?t=45323

Then i stumbled on the patches they mention and thought this must be the missing link for it to work in Kali? -Would it be easy or hard to figure out how to get the linked tutorial to work without errors? -the key part for me is the opportunity to alter the regd.c for the rtlwifi driver since i live in Wonderland were no regulation of antenna shaped microwave ovens exist.
