Is installing kali without gui possible using the full ISO, not the mini ISO?

I'd like to install kali without a GUI, as I don't need it. I only need the kali tools.
I did that before, using the mini iso and not selecting the GUI, but other options.

Is the installation without GUI possible with the full ISO too - without installing and then uninstalling all GUI packets.

As far as I know and trying to remember my installation, I don't think so. It installs the whole system including the desktop environment.

If you did it before with the mini-iso, stick to it. But you might want to give it a try with full ISO.
