Any advice ? I tried to change source list but it did not help.fresh install kali 2016.1 Unable to connect network mirror kali 2.0 same problem

Maybe the mirror is temporarily offline? Could be that kali.mirror.garr.it doesn't handle IPV6, but that's just a guess.
