How to stop sidescrolling on touchpad and mouse changing the volume?

When I 2 finger scroll sideways or normal scroll (and accidentally scroll sideways) on the touchpad or use my side scroll wheel on my Mx Master, it changes the volume quite rapidly. It is really annoing. I have no idea if it is Kali, Gnome or something else, but i can't find any answer. Since I need the tools on my laptop and I use Linux with Gnome daily anyways, I am trying to switch my laptop to single-boot total Kali. Listening to music/videos and doing something else makes the sidescroll volume change a really bad feature for me.
