check if my kali's image is not corrupt

Hi, since I have problems to boot from Kali's image SD Card on my ARM Chromebook, I decided to test it on another laptop, this one is x64 based processor, but when I changed the boot process order I did not receive anything from the Kali's SD Card, I thought that I least will receive some message like "Bad Architecture blah blah" but I just got a blank screen, so my new questions are:

1. how can I test if my kali's image is not corrupt?
2. should I receive some error messages trying this ARM image on my x64 based laptop?
3. some suggestions?
