Create a Live Kali USB that boots off windows AND mac.. + Upgrade in persistence

Isit possible to create a Live Kali USB that boots off windows AND mac, I have already setup a kali live usb that runs perfectly on windows.
I was wondering if there is any way i can add a few conf. files that allow it to boot off a mac also....or would that mess with the windows boot in turn?


Also, If i partition my usb to allow for persistence...if i log in through persistence, and upgrade and update, will this be saved onto the usb?
Or will it be discarded, and I'll need to update, upgrade after every login..??
