Issues installing on Intel NUC7i5BNH
I am trying to install 2019.3-amd64 on a NUC7i5BNH. I am running the installer in text mode to avoid any graphical adapter problems. I get to the point where the installer sees my NIC and my WLAN cards, looks for an IP address but doesn't seem to get it. My DHCP server is working fine since the rest of the network gets its IP address from the same DHCP server.
Last message in the syslog are from dhclient: XMT: info-Request on eth0, interval xxxxms.
Can i install Kali without the network card drivers and install them later?
Has anyone installed Kali on a NUC before and ran into this issue?
UPDATE: For now i switched off the nic and wlan and am installing without networking support.
Thanks,
Toontje.
[Resolved (somehow)] Issues installing on Intel NUC7i5BNH
After a successful installation of Kali i re-enabled the nic and wlan in the BIOS and rebooted Kali. All works fine now. Still a mystery why the installer doesn't start my nic and wlan cards correctly.
