Kali Linux 2020.2 stuck in boot loop after installation

Hello,

Installed kali linux 2020.2 from a DVD. I was prompted to remove the installation media and continue with installation and the system rebooted after installation and now it's rebooting continuously.
I'm getting 2 options on the screen
1. Kali GNU/Linux
2. Advances options for kali GNU/Linux

If I choose either of the options system is rebooting. This is a fresh installation and single boot on new HDD. I followed the steps provided on the Kali website for installation process. I've never installed or used Kali Linux before this is my first time.

Need help to resolve this issue.
