Laptop [k55DR] Drivers and Pre-Installation questions

Hello, i would like to install kali linux to my laptop, but before i do anything i thought i should discuss somethings that i believe is really important before doing so. Drivers.

-Okay my laptop is Asus k55DR its an APU A8, are there any drivers for it using linux ?

-Also my Wifi card seems to be Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter does it support monitor mode and everything so i could be fine with aircrack ?

-Are there any other drivers i might need for my laptop? does anyone who has the same laptop use or used kali on it? is there anything i should know and consider before going ahead with the installation ?
