Issues to run Kali Live on SD Card - MacBook Air 2015

Salve, everyone.

I have read some threads on running Kali on USB/SD Cards in OSx, most of them describing blank/black screen and some explaining few ways how to solve it. I tried some of them, but none work.

1. I tried to run on the way it´s described on Kali's official-.
2. After rebooting, I got black screen.
3. Resetted the SMC
4. Rebooted
5. Freezed Kali menu, on the top left corner.
6. Rebooted

By this time, I got back to the forum and read about how to get it solved.

7. Installed rEFInd boot manager
8. Rebooted

If I rebooted and let it run alone, it'd stop at the rEFInd menu, without the option to boot on the SDCard. If I kept the OPTION pressed and choose to boot on the SDCard, I'd get the same issue at n5.
It´s possible, by the time it's shown the Kali menu, to start the Kali Live, but it'd freeze on the loading process.

There's a thread written by yzh503 that'd solve the problem by having two USB drvs sticked on. One with Ubuntu and the oher with Kali.
Why would it solve, by the way? I couldn't get it?
