Modify NetHunter Zip File

Hi guys i have a question about nethunter zip file
I have nexus 5 hammerhead and flashed nethunter by twrp it stopped at %50 but when I restarted the phone it came up with nethunter and seems work
I want to flash it again and my question is:

can I extract the nethunter and replace some files with new one?

I have downloaded kalifs-armhf-full.tar.xz from kali servers and its bigger than the one in the nethunter extracted folder and I downloaded nethunter.apk and downloaded supersu.zip for nexus 5

can I replace them with original files to make it up to date and zip the extracted file again?
