Kali on Pi 4 - wifi stopped working

Hi everyone!
Kali 2020.4 on Raspberry PI 4
used airmon-ng and airodump-ng once, rebooted, and since then network manager reports "Wi-Fi is disabled"
"rfkill list all" shows soft-block on my wlan0 adapter
tried "rfkill unblock all", ifconfig wlan0 up, service networking restart, service NetworkManager restart...
nothing helps
and every time i reboot the system, "rfkill list all" shows soft-block
tried to connect wifi adapter via usb, it also shows soft-block
need your assistance!
