VMWare Kali on M1 Mac (arm64) Details ?

Hello,

I currently have on an Intel Mac with the VMWare image of an amd64 virtual machine of Kali. Found here: https://www.kali.org/get-kali/#kali-virtual-machines

I am moving to an M1 Mac and since there are no pre-built images, I was wondering if we had detailed instructions to do the same setup as for the Intel version ourselves? At least for now, until there are official virtual machine images available ?
