Kali 2019.4 live boot

Hello.I'm trying to use Kali live from a flash drive and it doesn't work.
On the grub menu I choose 'live system' or 'live system with persistence', press 'e' for boot options, and tried the following things:
- Add nouveau/nvidia.modeset=0 to the end of the 'linux' line.
- Change 'quiet splash' to 'nomodeset'
I thought the problem might be the new version of Kali, and tried booting 2019.2 which sometime work (I could boot it successfully once every few reboots). When I do get to the system I install the nvidia drivers but it doesn't help with the booting problem. I also couldn't find the correct file in which I can add the 'nouveau.modeset=0' permanently.

Anyone here with an Nvidia GPU that uses Kali 2019.4? I'd really love some help.
My laptop is Asus UX533F.

I just either install into vmplayer or on my hard drive/ssd.

Installing is easy enough, Kali really is one of the most simple distros to install onto a UEFI system.
Once I'm installed, I install the nvidia drivers : https://www.kali.org/docs/general-us...on-kali-linux/

With vmplayer, I just use the prepared kali-vm image : https://www.offensive-security.com/k...mage-download/


However, if your GPU is one of those hybrid ones, I have 0 experience using one and never looked into it.

The only reason I even tried to boot it live is to get my network adapter on monitor mode and I had no success with Vritualbox. Will it work with vmware?

I've recently installed kali linux 2019.4 along with windows 10 as operating system. Now after installing i am having problem with "apt-get update". i've copied latest repositories link from kali linux website to source.list file but still the problem is same. i'm not able to install any package. Kindly help me asap. My location is India.
My repositories are:
