I just installed Kali as a dual boot, and finally got the time to try an update of the software, but I get this response: E: Error http://http.kali.org/kali/ kali/main linux-image-3.7-trunk-686-pae i386 3.7.2-0+kali7
404 Not Found.
Can anyone help me get past this problem? Thanks in advance.
hey iam also newbie at kali ..i think adding repository wiil fix this problem..go to this file /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://http.kali.org/ /kali main contrib non-free
deb http://http.kali.org/ /wheezy main contrib non-free
deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali-dev main contrib non-free
deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali-dev main/debian-installer
deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali-dev main contrib non-free
deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali main contrib non-free
deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali main/debian-installer
deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali main contrib non-free
deb http://security.kali.org/kali-security kali/updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://security.kali.org/kali-security kali/updates main contrib non-free
and add this lines in that file and save and try apt-get update on terminal..
after add those files above, please run apt-get update on terminal, that should fix the problem
