[Help] Problem with menu on top-right of Kali Rolling

Hi guys, i have a problem with the new version of kali linux, the slide menu on top-right of the window working, but the button for the settings and the sound don't work. I all ready try to check trough the check console ( the console available from windows-button on the keyboard ) **** still i can't find the general settings of the system ( I mean, i can't handling how the computer will be connected on internet [ proxy and socks ], or i can't handling sound preference and something else. ) have you some idea to how fix it? And again, i don't have the picture of the sound and when i try to move the value of the volume it's work graphically but don't change the sound intensity, as well if i press on the keyboard "FN + UP_Arrow" to increase the sound and as well "FN + DOWN_Arrow" to decrease the sound. Somebody can help me?
